The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Gnadenhutten, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving gnadenhutten, Ohio. Our Millersburg home has been the heart of our breeding program since 2011, and the puppies you see today come from bloodlines we have carefully developed over those years. Every Mini Bernedoodle here is ethically raised underfoot in our home, handled daily from the first week so that confidence, not fear, becomes the puppy’s default setting. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, because the healthiest start begins long before a litter arrives. Each Mini Bernedoodle also comes with a 3-year health guarantee, which means you are never carrying the risk of those early years alone. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Gnadenhutten Families

Each puppy currently available has a full profile with recent photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed, hold, and play with them every single day. Some are bold little explorers who greet every visitor first, while others are the quiet nappers who would rather curl into a lap than chase a ball across the yard. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one, and reading those notes before you drive up from gnadenhutten means you already know which personalities suit your household. How to Reserve Your Mini Bernedoodle Puppy

Bringing home a Mini Bernedoodle starts with a short application that tells us about your home, your schedule, and the kind of companion you are hoping for. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Gnadenhutten?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg property since 2011, which gives us a long record of knowing how our lines mature in temperament, coat, and size. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and a 3-year health guarantee comes with every Mini Bernedoodle we place. What families notice most, though, is our matching process, where we pair a specific puppy to a specific home rather than letting whoever answers first take whichever puppy is left.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of life, when we begin watching how each puppy reacts to new sounds, new surfaces, unfamiliar people, and the chaos of littermates. We document those traits as they develop, noting which puppies recover quickly from surprises and which ones settle most easily into quiet company. When it comes time to match, we hold those notes up against the lifestyle and home environment you described in your application so the puppy coming home suits the life already happening there.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you real coverage through the years when genetic concerns would most likely surface. We also include a $399 starter kit with the food your puppy already eats, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide so the first week at home runs on familiar routines. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and our lifetime breeder support means you can call us at age two or age ten with a question and still reach the people who raised your dog.

What should Gnadenhutten families know before getting a mini bernedoodle?

Life along the Tuscarawas River valley tends to move outdoors, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily join you on trail walks near the Towpath, long evenings in a fenced backyard, or weekend errands into New Philadelphia. That curly or wavy coat does need real attention, so plan on brushing a few times each week and a professional groom roughly every eight to ten weeks to keep mats from forming behind the ears and legs. Daily exercise matters just as much as grooming, and a good walk plus some mental work each day keeps these clever dogs content rather than restless.

Is a mini bernedoodle a good fit for families in Gnadenhutten?

Gnadenhutten’s mix of village lots, older farmhouses, and nearby acreage suits a dog in the 25-to-50-pound range beautifully, since a Mini Bernedoodle is small enough for a modest home yet sturdy enough for muddy spring fields and snowy January mornings. The Bernese side brings that steady, people-focused calm that works well in a close-knit small town where neighbors, grandkids, and visitors come and go. Their Poodle intelligence means they pick up house rules quickly, which is a genuine relief for busy households juggling school schedules and farm or shift work.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our puppies are raised and picked up in Millersburg, an easy drive through Amish country from Tuscarawas County, and families regularly make the trip from across Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, and beyond. Meeting your puppy here lets you see where it was raised, which is something we genuinely encourage. For families in gnadenhutten and farther out who cannot make the drive, delivery options are available so distance never decides whether the right puppy finds you.
