The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Tuscarawas, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving tuscarawas, Ohio. We have been raising litters from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know that how a puppy spends its first eight weeks shapes the dog it becomes. Our puppies are ethically raised underfoot in our home, handled daily by our own family so they arrive confident rather than fearful of normal household noise. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a pairing, because knowing what is behind a puppy protects the family who takes it home. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which means we stand behind our breeding decisions years after pickup day. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Tuscarawas Families

Each puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with recent photos, weight updates, coat description, and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed and play with them every morning. We note which pups come running to the gate first, which ones settle quietly in a lap, and which ones never stop investigating, so a family an hour east of us in Tuscarawas can picture exactly how that puppy would fit their living room, their kids, and their weekends. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If the timing is not right this month, planning ahead is often the smarter move, since reserving from a future litter lets you choose a homecoming date that actually suits your work schedule or school calendar. Every planned litter page lists the parents’ OFA and genetic testing results, the coat types and adult size range we expect from that pairing, and a projected go-home window, which gives anyone driving in from Tuscarawas months of lead time to prepare the crate, the vet appointment, and the fenced yard. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions families ask us most often, answered the same way we would answer them over the phone.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Tuscarawas?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg farm since 2011, which means our pairings are built on more than a decade of watching how our lines actually mature in real family homes. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before we plan a litter, and every puppy we place carries a 3-year health guarantee so you are never left guessing. On top of that, we hand-match each puppy to the family rather than letting anyone pick a name off a list, because the right temperament fit matters more than the prettiest photo.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We begin observing each puppy’s unique traits early in their life, noting who chases the noisy toy, who recovers quickest from a startle, and who seeks out a lap when the room gets busy. Those observations get documented week by week as the litter develops, giving us a real picture of each individual rather than a guess made on pickup day. When your application tells us about your children, your other pets, and how active your household is, we use that record to match you with the puppy most likely to thrive in your home environment.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee, so your first years together are backed by the same people who raised the litter. Our $399 starter kit covers the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics for that Bernedoodle coat, and a training guide that walks you through crate work and house training. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and our lifetime breeder support means you can text us about a chewing phase or a coat change years down the road.

What should Tuscarawas families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Tuscarawas sits in a stretch of Ohio where life still happens outdoors, between the towpath trails along the river, the open backroads, and the kind of yards a puppy can really stretch out in, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily take advantage of all of it with a daily walk plus some real play time. The curly to wavy coat they inherit from the Poodle side needs brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, so it helps to line up a groomer before your puppy comes home. They are smart, people-focused dogs who do best when they are part of family life rather than left alone for long stretches, which is worth considering if everyone in the house works away all day.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Tuscarawas?

The Mini Bernedoodle’s steady, affectionate Bernese temperament suits the family-centered rhythm of Tuscarawas County towns like Dover and New Philadelphia, where kids, church gatherings, and front-porch visiting are all part of a normal week. At roughly 25 to 45 pounds they are substantial enough to hike a county park or ride along on a trip to the sale barn, yet compact enough for a village lot or a smaller home where a full-size Bernese would feel like too much dog. They also handle Ohio’s swing from humid August afternoons to January snow well, as long as the coat is kept properly trimmed and they come inside to be with their people.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, an easy drive west through Amish country for most of Tuscarawas County, and we regularly welcome families who have driven in from across Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond. Many families enjoy making a day of the trip so they can meet us, see where their puppy grew up, and ask questions in person before heading home. For families in Tuscarawas and farther out who cannot make the drive, delivery options are available, and Becky can walk you through what that looks like.
