The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Somerdale, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving somerdale, Ohio. From our Millersburg home we have been breeding since 2011, learning each generation of dogs so well that we can tell you which pup naps in the sun and which one greets you first. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before a litter is ever planned, because the healthiest start begins long before a puppy is born. Each Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, giving families real protection during the years that matter most. Our puppies are ethically raised underfoot in our home, handled daily, and introduced to household sounds so the transition to your living room is a short one. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Somerdale Families

Every puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with photographs and honest temperament notes describing how that individual plays, settles, and responds to new people. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. We write those notes with real households in mind, so a family in Somerdale weighing a busy household against a quieter one can tell at a glance which pup belongs there. Read a few profiles and you will start to recognize personalities, which is exactly how we hope you choose. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

Each planned litter is published with the parents’ health records, expected coat and size details, and a projected availability window, so Somerdale households can line up a homecoming with school breaks, work schedules, or a quieter stretch of the year. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Somerdale?

We have been breeding from Millersburg since 2011, long enough to know which pairings produce the steady, affectionate temperament families hope for in a Mini Bernedoodle. Every parent dog completes OFA and genetic testing, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that stands behind the care we put in. What sets us apart most is that we match puppies to households ourselves rather than letting first-come ordering decide who gets whom.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of life, when we watch how each puppy handles new footing, unfamiliar noises, and being picked up by someone they have just met. We write those traits down as they develop, building a picture of whether a pup is bold, cuddly, independent, or endlessly playful. When your application arrives we read it against those notes and recommend the puppy whose nature suits your family’s daily rhythm and home environment.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle comes with a 3-year health guarantee, which covers your puppy through the years when genetic concerns would show themselves. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with food, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so your first week is about bonding instead of errands. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means we are still the people you call when your dog is seven and something new comes up.

What should Somerdale families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Somerdale sits in the rolling farm country of eastern Tuscarawas County, where back roads, open yards, and the trails near the Tuscarawas River give a Mini Bernedoodle plenty of room to burn off the energy this breed carries. Plan on a solid walk or a good romp most days, since a bored Bernedoodle will invent its own entertainment. Their wavy coat needs brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, especially after a muddy spring or a burr-filled autumn walk.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Somerdale?

For a small village like Somerdale, where homes often sit on generous lots and neighbors still wave from the porch, a Mini Bernedoodle fits beautifully because it is substantial enough to keep up with kids outdoors yet small enough to curl up in a farmhouse kitchen. The Bernese side brings that calm, loyal steadiness that makes a dog easy to live with around children and visiting grandparents. Their devoted nature also suits households where someone is usually home, which is common in this corner of Tuscarawas County.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, roughly an hour west of Somerdale through Holmes County, and families regularly drive in from across Ohio and neighboring states to meet their puppy in person. For households in Somerdale and beyond who cannot make the trip, delivery options are available so distance never stands between a puppy and the right family.
