The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Port, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving port, Ohio. Everything happens right here on our Millersburg property, where we have been breeding since 2011 and where puppies grow up underfoot in a real home rather than a kennel. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, because the health of a puppy begins long before that puppy is born. Every mini bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which gives families room to fall in love without quietly worrying about what they cannot see. We also stay reachable for the life of your dog, answering questions about chewing, grooming, or training whenever they come up. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Port Families

Each puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who raise them every day. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Reading through those notes from your kitchen table in Port is often the moment a family realizes which puppy belongs with them, long before pickup day arrives. We would rather you choose with real information than with a cute photo alone. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Port?

We have been raising Mini Bernedoodle puppies from the same Millersburg property since 2011, which means our lines, our parent dogs, and our habits are all something we can speak to personally. Every breeding pair completes OFA and genetic testing, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that we stand behind ourselves rather than passing along to a third party. On top of that, we hand-match puppies to families through our own temperament-matching program instead of handing out whoever is left.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We begin observing each puppy’s unique traits early in their life, noting who charges toward a new sound and who prefers to watch from a safe distance first. Those observations get documented week by week, building a real picture of each personality rather than a guess made on pickup day. When it is time to match, we line those notes up against your family’s lifestyle and home environment so the puppy you take home already suits the life waiting for them.

What’s included with every mini bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle comes with our 3-year health guarantee, and families can add our $399 starter kit with food, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide so the first week at home is far less of a scramble. Free FaceTime check-ins between reservation and pickup let you watch your puppy grow and ask whatever comes to mind. After your puppy comes home, our lifetime breeder support means you are never left guessing on your own.

What should Port families know before getting a mini bernedoodle?

Life around Port Washington moves at a country pace, with the Tuscarawas River valley, quiet back roads, and plenty of yard space that a Mini Bernedoodle will happily put to use on daily walks and backyard romps. Their wavy Bernese-and-Poodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and a trim every couple of months, which keeps mats away during muddy Ohio springs and heavy winters. They bond hard and would rather be in the room with you than left alone for long stretches, so plan on a dog who follows you from chore to chore.

Is a mini bernedoodle a good fit for families in Port?

The Mini Bernedoodle’s gentle, people-loving temperament suits the close-knit small-town rhythm of Port Washington, where neighbors, grandkids, and visitors come and go without much ceremony. At roughly 25 to 49 pounds, they are substantial enough to hike the trails around Tappan and Clendening Lakes yet compact enough for a modest farmhouse or a village lot without feeling like too much dog. Their calm, steady nature also makes them easy company on a porch in the evening, which is where many of ours end up.

How far do families travel to pick up their mini bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, about an hour northwest of Port Washington, and families regularly drive in from across Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond to meet their puppy in person. Many enjoy making a day of it in Holmes County, though we know not every schedule allows the trip. Delivery options are available for families in Port and farther afield, so distance never has to be the reason you miss the right puppy.
