The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Marne, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run Mini Bernedoodle breeder serving Marne, Ohio. Our breeding program took root in Millersburg back in 2011, and all these years later we still know every dog here by name and by personality. Every puppy is ethically raised underfoot in our home, which means they meet children, hear the dishwasher, and learn that people are good long before they ever meet you. Both parents of each litter come to us through OFA and genetic testing, because the health of the dogs behind a puppy shapes the decade or more you’ll spend together. That confidence is why we stand behind every Mini Bernedoodle with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you room to simply enjoy your dog instead of worrying about what might come. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Marne Families

Each puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with recent photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed them every morning, so you’ll know who’s the cuddler and who’s the clown before you ever drive out. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Families in Marne can read through those profiles at the kitchen table and talk it over together, which is exactly how we hope the decision gets made. We’d rather you fall for the right puppy than the first one. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If a new puppy doesn’t fit this season — a move, a baby, a summer of travel — our planned litters let you claim a spot early and let the timing come to you. Every upcoming litter page lists the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult size range we expect from that pairing, and a projected availability window so nothing about the wait is guesswork. Knowing a go-home month in advance gives a Marne household time to puppy-proof, line up a vet, and save vacation days for those first important weeks. View Upcoming Litters

How to Reserve Your Mini Bernedoodle Puppy

Bringing one of our puppies home takes fewer steps than most families expect, and it begins with an application that asks about your home, your schedule, and the kind of dog you picture beside you. Once we’ve reviewed and approved it — usually a quick conversation rather than a formality — a deposit locks in your spot and our matching process begins, pairing your household with the puppy whose temperament genuinely suits it. Between that reservation and pickup day, we hold free FaceTime check-ins so you can watch your puppy grow, ask the questions that come up at midnight, and arrive on pickup day already familiar. For families in Marne and throughout the region, the application is where it all starts. Start Your Application or call or text Becky at (330) 601-6871 if you’d like to talk through availability first.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Marne?

We’ve been breeding from the same Millersburg farm since 2011, which means we know how our lines mature, how they temper, and what kind of homes they thrive in. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a pairing, and every puppy leaves here with a 3-year health guarantee that reflects how seriously we take that responsibility. We also match puppies to families rather than selling first-come, because the right pairing is the part that families remember years later.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of life, when we watch how each puppy handles new sounds, new surfaces, and a little gentle handling from the children who help raise them. We document the traits we see — the bold explorer, the velcro snuggler, the steady middle-of-the-road pup — and then line those notes up against what you’ve told us about your household. From there we recommend the puppy whose natural wiring fits your home, your activity level, and the pace of your days.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle goes home covered by our 3-year health guarantee, which is the longest commitment we know how to make to the dogs we raise. Our $399 starter kit sends you off with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written for these first weeks specifically. You’ll also have free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward, because questions don’t stop at eight weeks and neither do we.

What should Marne families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Life around Marne and the wider Licking County countryside suits an active dog beautifully, with open yards, quiet township roads, and trails close enough for a real walk rather than a lap around the block. A Mini Bernedoodle will happily spend the morning outside with you and then settle in by your feet for the evening, provided they get genuine daily exercise and a mind-engaging routine. Plan on brushing a few times a week and a professional groom every couple of months, since these coats are gorgeous but they do ask for upkeep.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Marne?

For most Marne households, the Mini Bernedoodle size is the sweet spot — substantial enough to tag along on farm chores and gravel-road walks, compact enough for a covered porch, a hatchback, and a spot on the couch. They inherit the Bernese steadiness alongside Poodle smarts, which makes them patient with kids one minute and quick to learn the next. In a community where neighbors wave, kids run between yards, and weekends happen outdoors, that mix of calm and curiosity travels well.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We’re based in Millersburg, in the heart of Ohio’s Amish country, and families regularly make the drive from across the state as well as from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and beyond. Most of Licking County is an easy morning’s drive, and many families turn pickup day into a trip worth remembering. For households in Marne and farther out, delivery options are available too, so distance is never the thing that keeps the right puppy from the right home.
