The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In New Cumberland, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving New Cumberland, Ohio. Our home in Millersburg is where every litter has been whelped and raised since 2011, which means more than a decade of knowing these dogs by name, by personality, and by quirk. Our puppies are ethically raised underfoot in our family’s daily life, so they come to you already comfortable with children, noise, and the ordinary rhythm of a busy household. Both parents go through OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, because the healthiest puppies start with parents whose hips, eyes, and DNA panels we can show you in writing. Every mini bernedoodle leaves here with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you years of reassurance instead of a few nervous weeks, and our support never expires if you need us. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for New Cumberland Families

Each puppy currently available has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed, hold, and play with them every single day. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. When a family in New Cumberland is weighing the bold explorer against the gentle lap-sitter, those notes are what turn a scroll through cute faces into a confident decision. We would rather you wait a litter for the right personality than take home a puppy who never quite settles into your world. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If a puppy today is simply too soon — a move, a new baby, a busy season — our planned litters let you claim a spot early and come home when life is actually ready. For each pairing we publish the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult sizes we expect, and a projected availability window, so New Cumberland families can match a homecoming to the calendar rather than hoping something opens up. Spots on popular pairings fill quietly and well in advance. View Upcoming Litters

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in New Cumberland?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg home since 2011, and that continuity means we know exactly which pairings produce the calm, biddable temperaments families keep coming back for. Every parent goes through OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and every puppy carries a 3-year health guarantee, so you are not gambling on a dog’s future when you bring one home. We also take the time to match each puppy to the family rather than handing out whoever is closest to the gate.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each litter in the first weeks of life, noting who charges toward a new sound, who hangs back to think it over, and who climbs into a lap and stays there. Those traits get documented as the puppies grow, so by the time they are ready to leave we have weeks of real observations rather than a single snapshot. Then we line those notes up against your home, your schedule, and your household energy to recommend the puppy most likely to thrive with you.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that covers the genetic conditions families worry most about, which is the kind of protection that lets you enjoy the puppy instead of second-guessing every stumble. Our $399 starter kit covers the food they are already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written for this breed specifically, so the first week is about bonding and not emergency shopping. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means we are still the people you text when your dog is seven and something changes.

What should New Cumberland families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Life in the quieter corners of Tuscarawas County suits this breed beautifully, with room to roam the yard, trails and river bottoms nearby, and neighbors who wave rather than hurry past. Plan on a brisk walk or a solid play session most days, because a bored Mini Bernedoodle will invent a job for itself, and plan on brushing two or three times a week with a professional groom every couple of months to keep that wavy coat from matting. Winters here get muddy, so a towel by the door and a willingness to wipe paws will save your floors more than once.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in New Cumberland?

For a village the size of New Cumberland, where homes often come with a yard but not acreage, a Mini Bernedoodle hits the sweet spot — sturdy enough for kids and farm-road walks, compact enough to curl up in a modest living room without taking it over. They inherit the Bernese steadiness, which makes them patient with grandchildren and unbothered by a tractor rolling past, paired with a poodle’s cleverness that keeps them engaged in a close-knit community where everyone’s dog knows everyone’s dog. They do best with people around, so families who are home often will see the very best of this breed.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, and families drive in from across Ohio and from neighboring states because they want to meet the parents and see where their puppy spent its first eight weeks. From New Cumberland the trip is an easy morning, and many families make a day of it in Holmes County. If travel is complicated, delivery options are available for families in New Cumberland and well beyond, so distance never has to decide which puppy is yours.
