The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In New Philadelphia, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run Mini Bernedoodle breeder serving New Philadelphia, Ohio. Our breeding program has been rooted in Millersburg since 2011, and those years have taught us what a well-started Bernedoodle puppy actually needs. Every puppy is ethically raised underfoot in our home, surrounded by the noise and handling that helps them settle quickly into yours. We put our parent dogs through OFA and genetic testing because knowing what is behind a litter is the only honest way to predict what comes out of it. Every Mini Bernedoodle also goes home with a 3-year health guarantee, which means you are not carrying that worry alone.

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for New Philadelphia Families

Each available puppy has a full profile with current photos and temperament notes written by the people who feed them, play with them, and know which one steals the toys. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. If you are weighing a puppy from New Philadelphia, those notes let you picture how a particular pup would handle your mornings, your kids, and your quieter evenings before you ever make the drive.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions we hear most often from families weighing a Mini Bernedoodle, answered the same way we would answer them over the phone.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in New Philadelphia?

We have been breeding Mini Bernedoodles out of Millersburg since 2011, long enough to know that reputation is built one puppy at a time rather than one litter at a time. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, and every puppy leaves with a 3-year health guarantee that puts our name behind what we raise. We also take our time with the matching process, because the right temperament in the wrong home helps nobody.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of a puppy’s life, when we are already watching who charges toward a new sound and who hangs back to think about it. We document those traits as they develop, noting energy level, recovery after a startle, and how readily each puppy seeks out a person. When your application tells us about your home environment, your children, your work hours, and your activity level, we use those notes to recommend the Mini Bernedoodle most likely to thrive with you.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with a 3-year health guarantee, which covers you well past the puppy stage when most surprises would surface. The $399 starter kit includes the food your puppy is already eating, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so your first week at home is about bonding rather than errands. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means you can call us about a chewing phase three years from now and still get a real answer.

What should New Philadelphia families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

New Philadelphia offers the kind of setting a Bernedoodle genuinely enjoys, with quiet neighborhood streets, nearby trails, and the Tuscarawas River valley close enough for weekend wandering, all of which satisfies a breed that wants a daily walk and a job to think about. Their wavy to curly coats need brushing several times a week and professional grooming every couple of months to stay comfortable through humid Ohio summers and muddy springs. Bernedoodles inherit a Bernese streak of loyalty, so they do best with a family that keeps them in the thick of daily life rather than out in the yard alone.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in New Philadelphia?

The Mini Bernedoodle’s steady, affectionate temperament and manageable size make them an easy fit for the range of homes around New Philadelphia, from older in-town houses with modest yards to the roomier properties out along the county roads. They are gentle enough for a front-porch evening and sturdy enough for a Saturday at a county fairground or a youth ball game, which suits the community rhythm of this part of Ohio well. Because they bond hard to their people, they fit households where someone is usually home or where the dog comes along for the errands.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, roughly an hour northwest of New Philadelphia, and families regularly drive in from across Ohio and neighboring states to meet their puppy in the place it grew up. While many families make that trip gladly, we also offer convenient delivery options for families in New Philadelphia and beyond, ensuring your new puppy arrives safely and with as little stress as possible.
