The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Bolivar, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving bolivar, Ohio. Our breeding program has been rooted in Millersburg since 2011, long enough that we know what a well-raised Bernedoodle should look, act, and feel like at eight weeks old. Every puppy is raised ethically inside our home, handled daily by our family so that gentle confidence is normal rather than something a new owner has to build from scratch. Both parents go through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a pairing, because the healthiest puppies start with parents whose genetics we actually understand. Each mini bernedoodle also carries a 3-year health guarantee, which is our written promise that we stand behind what we raise. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Bolivar Families

Every puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed them, play with them, and watch them grow. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Rather than guessing from a photo, a family in Bolivar can read exactly which puppy charges toward the noise and which one curls up in a lap, then tell us which of those two sounds like their household. We would always rather help you wait for the right puppy than hand you the wrong one. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this season is not the right one for your household, planning ahead is often the smarter path, and our upcoming litters let you claim a spot before a single puppy is born. Each planned litter is posted with the parents’ health records, expected coat and size details, and a projected availability window, so you know what is coming and roughly when. That lead time matters for a Bolivar household coordinating school breaks, work schedules, or a fenced yard that still needs finishing. View Upcoming Litters

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions we hear most often from families weighing a Mini Bernedoodle, answered the same way we would answer them on the phone.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Bolivar?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg home since 2011, which means our lines, our practices, and our reputation have all been built in one place over more than a decade. Every pairing starts with OFA and genetic testing on the parents, and every puppy leaves here with a 3-year health guarantee behind it. What families usually notice most, though, is the matching process, because we care less about selling a puppy quickly and more about sending the right one to the right living room.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching personalities long before a puppy is ready to leave, noting who investigates a new sound first, who settles quickly after play, and who seeks out a lap when the room gets busy. Those observations get documented week by week, so by the time we are matching, we are working from weeks of real behavior rather than one afternoon’s impression. Then we line those traits up against your household — the kids, the schedule, the yard, the other pets — and recommend the puppy most likely to thrive in it.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which covers you well past the first vet visits that worry new owners most. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written for this breed, so the first week is about bonding instead of emergency shopping. You also get free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward, because we genuinely want to hear how your Mini Bernedoodle is doing at six months and at six years.

What should Bolivar families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

With Atwood Lake, the Zoar trails, and the towpath so close by, Bolivar is a place where a dog gets genuinely used, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily hike, swim, and ride along before flopping down by the fire. Plan on a solid daily walk plus some real play, because this is a thinking breed that gets into mischief when bored rather than tired. Their wavy coat also needs brushing a few times a week and a professional groom every couple of months, especially after a muddy Tuscarawas County spring.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Bolivar?

For a community where farmhouses, village lots, and lake-area homes sit side by side, the Mini Bernedoodle’s twenty-five to forty-five pound frame fits almost any of them without feeling cramped or underused. They carry the Bernese steadiness that makes them patient around kids and farm visitors, paired with Poodle intelligence that makes training a pleasure rather than a battle. Families here tend to want one dog that handles the barn, the boat, and the back porch equally well, and that is exactly the temperament we breed for.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm sits in Millersburg, an easy drive through Holmes County for most of northeast Ohio, and families regularly come from Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and farther across neighboring states to meet their puppy in person. We love pickup day and the chance to show you where your dog spent its first weeks. When the drive does not work, delivery options are available for families in Bolivar and beyond, so distance never has to decide whether a puppy is right for you.
