The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Midvale, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving midvale, Ohio. From our home in Millersburg, we have been breeding since 2011, which means more than a decade of learning what makes these dogs thrive before they ever reach your door. Our puppies are ethically raised underfoot in a family setting, so they arrive used to children, household noise, and the ordinary rhythm of a busy home. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we plan a single litter, because knowing what is behind a puppy is how we protect the family in front of it. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you real peace of mind through those first formative years together.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions families ask us most often, and we answer them the same way on the phone as we do here.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Midvale?

We have been breeding from Millersburg since 2011, long enough to know our lines inside and out rather than guessing at how a pairing will turn out. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, and every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that stands behind that work. We also take the time to match puppies to households by temperament instead of letting families pick on color alone, because the right personality is what makes a dog feel like family.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We begin observing each puppy’s unique traits early in their life, watching who charges toward a new sound and who hangs back to think about it first. Those traits get documented week by week, giving us a clear picture of confidence, sensitivity, and how readily each puppy bonds with people. When it comes time to match, we line up that record with your family’s lifestyle and home environment so the puppy you bring home is the one who was always going to suit you.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which covers the years when genetic concerns would surface and lets you settle in without that worry hanging over you. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so nothing about the first week has to be improvised. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means we are still the people you call three years from now with a question about coat care or training.

What should Midvale families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Life around Midvale and the Tuscarawas valley leans toward open yards, country roads, and weekends outdoors, all of which suit a Mini Bernedoodle who wants a good daily walk or a long game of fetch before settling at your feet. That wavy Bernese-and-Poodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months to stay comfortable through muddy springs and snowy Ohio winters. These dogs are deeply people-oriented, so they do best in a home where someone is around for much of the day rather than left alone for long stretches.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Midvale?

A Mini Bernedoodle’s calm, affectionate temperament fits the close-knit, family-centered pace of a small Tuscarawas County village, where a dog is as likely to greet neighbors on the sidewalk as to ride along on errands. Their smaller frame handles a modest village home or an older farmhouse with equal ease, and they have the stamina for trails along the river without needing a job to keep them from mischief. We find they settle beautifully into households with children and grandparents alike, which is exactly the kind of home this part of Ohio is full of.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, and families drive to us from every corner of Ohio and from neighboring states because they want to meet the people who raised their puppy. For anyone in Midvale, that is a short and scenic trip of well under an hour, though we know a weekday pickup is not always possible. Delivery options are available for families in Midvale and beyond when travel does not line up with your schedule, so distance never decides which puppy is yours.
