The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Strasburg, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving strasburg, Ohio. Our Millersburg home has been the heart of this breeding program since 2011, and the puppies you meet here are raised underfoot in the middle of daily family life rather than tucked away in a kennel. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before a litter is ever planned, because knowing what we are breeding is the only honest way to raise healthy dogs. Each puppy leaves us backed by a 3-year health guarantee, which tells you we stand behind our dogs long after the excitement of homecoming day settles. Lifetime breeder support means we are still a phone call away when your Mini Bernedoodle is three, six, or ten years old. Reserve a Puppy

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If the timing is not right this month, planning ahead is often the smartest way to get the puppy you truly want rather than the one that happens to be left. Each upcoming litter page lists the parents’ health records, the expected coat types and adult size range, and a projected availability window, so you can line up a homecoming around school breaks, a new house, or a quieter season at work. Knowing those dates months out gives Strasburg families time to prepare instead of scramble. View Upcoming Litters

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Strasburg?

We have been breeding from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know the bloodlines behind our dogs and to care about how each one turns out years down the road. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing, and every puppy comes with a 3-year health guarantee that puts our name behind the dog you take home. Our matching process is the real difference, because we would rather send you home with the puppy that suits your family than the one you simply saw first.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We begin observing each puppy’s unique traits early in their life, documenting their individual personalities to match them perfectly with your family’s lifestyle and home environment. Those notes track the things that actually shape daily living with a dog, including confidence, energy, how quickly a pup recovers from a startle, and how much they seek out people. By the time your pickup date arrives, we are recommending a specific Mini Bernedoodle to you for specific reasons we can explain.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy is covered by our 3-year health guarantee, which gives you real protection during the years that matter most for a young dog. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week is about bonding instead of emergency shopping trips. Free FaceTime check-ins and lifetime breeder support mean you are never guessing on your own, whether the question comes at eight weeks or eight years.

What should Strasburg families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Life around Strasburg moves at a pace a Mini Bernedoodle thrives on, with quiet neighborhood streets, the nearby Towpath Trail along the old canal, and plenty of room for a morning walk before the day begins. Plan on a good daily walk or a solid play session to keep that Bernese-and-Poodle energy satisfied, because a bored doodle will invent its own entertainment. Their wavy coats need brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, which is well worth building into your routine from the start.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Strasburg?

The Mini Bernedoodle’s calm, people-centered temperament suits the family homes and village lots common in Strasburg, where a dog needs to be comfortable greeting neighbors on the sidewalk and settling in a living room by evening. At roughly 25 to 45 pounds, they are substantial enough to hike the Tuscarawas River valley and ride along to the ball fields, yet compact enough for a modest yard or a smaller house in town. They are devoted without being demanding, which is exactly what works in a close-knit community where the dog becomes part of the neighborhood too.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Based in Millersburg, we welcome families traveling from across Ohio and neighboring states, and plenty of them tell us the drive through Holmes County is half the fun. Strasburg sits an easy trip away, so most families make it a single afternoon and head home with their puppy the same day. Delivery options are also available for families in Strasburg and beyond when a road trip simply does not fit the calendar.
