The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Wilkshire Hills, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving wilkshire hills, Ohio. Our breeding program started in Millersburg back in 2011, and everything we have learned since then still shapes how each litter is raised today. Every puppy is ethically raised underfoot in our home, which is why they arrive confident around children, visitors, and ordinary household noise. We put our parent dogs through OFA and genetic testing before they ever produce a litter, because knowing what is behind a puppy is the fairest thing we can do for the family who takes one home. A 3-year health guarantee backs every mini bernedoodle we place, giving you real breathing room during the years that matter most. Reserve a Puppy

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this season is not the right moment to bring a puppy home, planning ahead costs you nothing and secures your place in line. Every upcoming litter is posted with the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult sizes we expect from that pairing, and a projected window for when those puppies will be ready to go home. Anyone searching from Wilkshire Hills can use those windows to line a homecoming up with a school break, a slower work stretch, or whatever makes the first weeks easiest. View Upcoming Litters

How to Reserve Your Mini Bernedoodle Puppy

There is no complicated gauntlet here — a short application tells us about your household, and once we review and approve it, a deposit locks in your spot. From that point the matching process begins, where we weigh everything we know about each puppy’s behavior against the home environment you described, so the pairing is deliberate rather than first-come guesswork. Families in Wilkshire Hills and throughout the region all start at the same place with that application, and between reservation and pickup we set up free FaceTime check-ins so you can watch your puppy grow and ask whatever comes to mind. Start Your Application or call or text Becky at (330) 601-6871 if you’d like to talk through availability first.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Wilkshire Hills?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg farm since 2011, which means our pairings are built on more than a decade of watching how specific lines grow up and behave in real homes. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing, and a 3-year health guarantee comes with every puppy we place, so you are never guessing about what is behind your dog. On top of that, we hand-match puppies to households rather than letting families pick blind from a photo gallery.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each puppy within the first weeks of life, noting who charges toward a new sound, who hangs back and studies it, and who wants a lap more than a toy. Those observations are documented as the litter grows, then measured against what you have told us about your household — the kids, the other pets, the work schedule, the yard or lack of one. The result is a puppy whose natural wiring already suits your lifestyle and home environment instead of one you have to reshape.

What’s included with every mini bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy leaves with a 3-year health guarantee and a $399 starter kit stocked with the food they are already eating, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and a training guide so your first week has no scramble for supplies. Free FaceTime check-ins run from reservation through pickup, letting you watch your puppy grow before the drive home. Lifetime breeder support comes with it too, and we genuinely mean lifetime — families call us about grooming and training years later, and we still pick up.

What should Wilkshire Hills families know before getting a mini bernedoodle?

Tuscarawas County living, with its rolling back roads, river trails, and plenty of yard space, suits a mini bernedoodle beautifully, though this is a dog that wants to be with you rather than left outside to entertain itself. Plan on a daily walk or a solid play session, plus brushing a few times a week and a professional groom roughly every eight to twelve weeks to keep that wavy coat from matting. They are smart and eager to please, so early training sticks fast when you stay consistent through those first months.

Is a mini bernedoodle a good fit for families in Wilkshire Hills?

For a community of settled neighborhoods, farmhouses, and homes close to the Tuscarawas River valley, the mini bernedoodle hits a genuinely useful size — substantial enough to hike a trail or ride along to the hardware store, compact enough to curl up in a modest living room without taking it over. They carry the Bernese side’s steady, affectionate nature along with the Poodle’s quick mind, which makes them patient with grandkids and calm around weekend visitors. That even temperament is why they settle so well into households where life moves between busy stretches and quiet evenings.

How far do families travel to pick up their mini bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm sits in Millersburg, and families make the trip from every corner of Ohio and from neighboring states, often turning pickup day into a drive through Amish country. For anyone in Wilkshire Hills it is a short run up the road, though delivery options are available as well if the timing or the distance does not work for your household. Either way, we walk you through everything in person or on the phone before your puppy goes home.
