The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Newcomerstown, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving newcomerstown, Ohio. Our breeding program began in Millersburg in 2011, and more than a decade later our dogs still live as part of the family rather than as stock in a kennel. Every litter starts with health-tested parents who have completed OFA and genetic testing, because the soundness of a puppy’s hips, heart, and eyes shapes the years your family gets to spend together. Each mini bernedoodle also leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, a promise that reflects how confident we are in the lines we’ve built. Our puppies are raised underfoot in a busy household, so they come to you already used to noise, children, and the ordinary rhythm of family life. Reserve a Puppy

Every puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who handle them daily, from the bold explorer to the one who naps in your lap the moment you sit down. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Reading those notes before you ever make the drive from Newcomerstown means you already know which puppy suits a quiet house, a yard full of kids, or a household that hikes every weekend. Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this season isn’t the right one for your family, planning ahead is often the smarter path, and our upcoming litters page exists for exactly that reason. For each planned litter we publish the parents’ health records, the expected coat types and adult size range, and a projected availability window, so a family in Newcomerstown can line up a homecoming with a school break or a quieter stretch at work. Reserving early simply means your name is on the list before the litter arrives. View Upcoming Litters

How to Reserve Your Mini Bernedoodle Puppy

Bringing one of our Mini Bernedoodle puppies home begins with a short, friendly application rather than a long sales process. Once we review and approve your application, a deposit locks in your spot and our matching process begins, where we compare the behavior notes we’ve gathered on each puppy against the home, schedule, and energy level you’ve described to us. For families in Newcomerstown and across the region, that application is the real starting point, and from reservation day through pickup we hold free FaceTime check-ins so you can watch your puppy grow instead of waiting in the dark. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Newcomerstown?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg farm since 2011, which means our lines are ones we know intimately rather than dogs we purchased last season. Every pairing is backed by OFA and genetic testing, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that stands behind the decisions we made long before the litter arrived. Our matching process then takes the guesswork out of choosing, because we have watched these puppies every day and can tell you honestly which one belongs in your house.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each puppy within the first weeks of life, noting who recovers quickly from a startle, who seeks out people, and who prefers to study a new situation before joining in. Those observations get written down rather than remembered loosely, so by the time you are approved we have a real record of each puppy’s behavior, adaptability, and how readily they bond. We then set that record beside your household details and recommend the puppy whose natural wiring fits your lifestyle and home environment.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Each puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, giving you three full years of reassurance during the stretch when genetic concerns would typically surface. Our $399 starter kit covers the food they are already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics for that curly coat, and a training guide written for new doodle owners. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means you can still call us when your mini bernedoodle is seven years old and something new comes up.

What should Newcomerstown families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Newcomerstown sits in that lovely stretch of eastern Ohio where the Tuscarawas River valley, the bike trail, and plenty of open ground make daily walks easy, and a mini bernedoodle will happily take every mile you can give, which usually means 45 minutes to an hour of real activity each day. That Bernese-and-Poodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and a groomer every couple of months, especially after a muddy spring on the trails. These dogs bond hard and would rather be with their people than left alone for long days, so the most important preparation is making room for a dog who wants to be part of everything.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Newcomerstown?

Between the older in-town homes with modest yards and the farmsteads just outside the village limits, Newcomerstown households vary a lot, and a mini bernedoodle’s 25-to-45-pound frame slots comfortably into either one without overwhelming a living room or getting bored on acreage. They carry the Bernese Mountain Dog’s steady, affectionate nature paired with Poodle intelligence, which makes them patient with kids at a Friday night ballgame and calm enough to settle by the woodstove afterward. For a community where neighbors still visit porches and dogs ride along on errands, that even temperament is exactly what families tend to want.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm is in Millersburg, an easy drive through Holmes County, and families regularly come to us from across Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond because they want to meet the people raising their puppy. For families in Newcomerstown and farther afield, we also arrange delivery when the drive doesn’t suit your schedule, so distance never becomes the reason a good match falls through.
