The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In New Albany, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run Mini Bernedoodle breeder serving New Albany, Ohio. Our breeding program began in Millersburg back in 2011, and more than a decade later we still raise every litter in our home rather than in kennels, because puppies who grow up around people become dogs who trust people. Our puppies are ethically raised from the very first week, which means early handling, gentle noise exposure, and the kind of daily attention that makes those first nights in your home far calmer. We breed only from health-tested parents, so you know the dog you bring home comes from lines we’ve examined carefully instead of hoped for the best on. Every Mini Bernedoodle also leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you real reassurance during the years when genetic concerns would surface if they ever did. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for New Albany Families

Every puppy currently looking for a family has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed them, play with them, and watch them sort out who they are. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Whether your New Albany household is busy with school pickups and backyard chaos or quiet enough that a mellow companion would be happier, those notes let you read past the cute photos and recognize the puppy who actually belongs with you. Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this season isn’t the right one for a puppy — a move on the calendar, a baby on the way, a summer already full — our planned litters let you secure a spot early and arrive when life is actually ready. Each upcoming litter page lays out the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult size range we expect from that pairing, and a projected availability window, so a family in New Albany can line up a homecoming months in advance instead of hoping something opens up. Spots on our favorite pairings tend to fill well before the puppies are born. View Upcoming Litters

How to Reserve Your Mini Bernedoodle Puppy

Beginning your journey to welcome a new puppy into your home is a straightforward process designed with your convenience in mind, and it starts with a short application that tells us about your household, your days, and what you’re hoping for in a dog. Once we review and approve it, a deposit locks in your spot and our matching process begins, where we compare what we’ve learned about you against what we’ve learned about each puppy’s personality. Between your reservation and pickup day, free FaceTime check-ins let you watch your puppy grow, ask the questions that come at odd hours, and feel connected to the dog waiting for you. For families in New Albany and throughout the region, that application is simply where it all begins. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in New Albany?

We’ve been breeding from the same family home in Millersburg since 2011, which means more than a decade of knowing these lines personally rather than guessing at what a pairing will produce. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they’re ever bred, so the puppy you bring home starts from a foundation we can stand behind. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, and our matching process means you’re not choosing a puppy from a photo — you’re being paired with the one whose personality fits your household.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching our puppies closely in the first weeks of life, noticing who bounces back fastest from a surprise, who seeks out a lap, and who would rather investigate the far corner of the room. Those observations get documented as the litter grows, building a real picture of each puppy’s confidence, energy, and sociability instead of a snapshot from one afternoon. When it’s time to match, we lay those notes beside what you’ve told us about your home, your schedule, and your family so the puppy coming to you is genuinely suited to the life waiting there.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which covers the window when inherited conditions would realistically appear and lets you settle in without that worry hanging over you. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written for the first weeks specifically. You also get free FaceTime check-ins and lifetime breeder support, because the questions don’t stop at eight weeks and we’d much rather you call us than guess.

What should New Albany families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

New Albany’s leisure trail system and generous green space are a real gift for a Mini Bernedoodle, because this is a dog who thrives on a solid daily walk and a chance to stretch out somewhere open rather than being left to invent entertainment indoors. That wavy Bernedoodle coat does ask for commitment — brushing a few times a week at home and a professional groom roughly every two to three months keeps it from matting behind the ears and under the legs. They are affectionate to the point of being underfoot, so families who want a dog in the middle of everything will be delighted, while those hoping for an aloof housemate should look elsewhere.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in New Albany?

For the mix of homes around New Albany — from Village Center condos to properties with room to roam out toward Harlem and Plain Township — a Mini Bernedoodle’s twenty-five to fifty pound frame lands in a sweet spot that works without needing acreage to stay sane. They inherit the Bernese Mountain Dog’s steady, patient nature, which makes them wonderfully tolerant of kids running through the house and of the neighbors, school friends, and visitors who come with a close-knit community. Their intelligence from the Poodle side means they pick up house manners quickly, a genuine relief for busy families juggling school and work schedules.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We’re based in Millersburg in the heart of Amish country, and families make the drive from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky to meet their puppy in person. Pickup day at our home is something we genuinely look forward to, since it lets you see where your puppy grew up and ask everything face to face. For families in New Albany and beyond who can’t make the trip work, delivery options are available — just ask and we’ll sort out the details together.
