The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Fredonia, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run Mini Bernedoodle breeder serving Fredonia, Ohio. Our Millersburg home has been the heart of this breeding program since 2011, and after all these years we still know every puppy by name and by personality. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they ever have a litter, because the healthiest puppies start with parents whose hips, eyes, and DNA panels have been looked at closely. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which gives families real breathing room during the years when a puppy is growing into an adult dog. We raise our puppies underfoot in our home rather than tucked away in a kennel, so they arrive used to noise, kids, and ordinary family chaos. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Fredonia Families

Each available Mini Bernedoodle puppy on our site has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who handle that pup every single day. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. If you are sorting through options from Fredonia and cannot drive out to meet a litter in person, those profiles are the next best thing to sitting on our floor with the whole pile of puppies. We would rather tell you a puppy is busy and bold than let a quiet household fall for the wrong personality. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

Spots on our most anticipated pairings tend to fill fast, which is reason enough to look early. View Upcoming Litters

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Fredonia?

We have been breeding from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know exactly which pairings produce the steady, affectionate temperaments families hope for in a Mini Bernedoodle. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing, every puppy carries a 3-year health guarantee, and our matching process means you are not simply picking a puppy by photo but being paired with the one that suits your household.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our observations start in the first weeks of a puppy’s life, when we begin noticing who charges toward a new sound and who hangs back to study it before deciding. We document those traits as the litter grows, watching how each pup recovers from surprises, handles being held, and plays with siblings. By the time you are choosing, we can tell you which puppy fits a busy household with toddlers and which one would rather be a quiet companion.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee and a $399 starter kit that includes food, a collar, a leash, grooming basics, and our training guide, so nothing about week one catches you unprepared. Free FaceTime check-ins between reservation and pickup let you watch your puppy grow up, and our lifetime breeder support means you can reach out years later about diet, coat care, or training questions. We genuinely like hearing how our puppies are doing, so those calls are never an imposition.

What should Fredonia families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Fredonia’s small-village pace and the open Licking County countryside around it suit a Mini Bernedoodle beautifully, since this is a breed that thrives on daily walks, yard time, and being included in whatever the family is doing. Plan on brushing a few times each week and a professional groom roughly every eight to ten weeks, because that wavy Bernese-and-Poodle coat mats quietly if you let it go. A good half hour or more of real activity each day keeps the Poodle intelligence busy and your furniture intact.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Fredonia?

For a community like Fredonia, where homes tend to sit on a bit of land and neighbors still wave from the road, the Mini Bernedoodle’s mid-twenties to mid-forties pound frame hits a sweet spot that is sturdy enough for country walks yet manageable in the house and the car. They inherit the Bernese Mountain Dog’s calm devotion to family alongside the Poodle’s quick mind, a combination that handles kids, visiting grandparents, and the occasional farm cat with remarkable grace. If your family wants one dog that can hike a trail on Saturday and nap through a quiet Sunday, this is that dog.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm sits in Millersburg in the heart of Ohio’s Amish country, an easy drive for most of the state and a trip families regularly make from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and well beyond. Many families turn pickup day into an afternoon in Holmes County, which we love, because meeting the parent dogs tells you more than any photo can. Delivery options are also available for Fredonia families and others who would rather have their puppy brought to them.
