The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Granville, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving granville, Ohio. Our Millersburg farm has been home to our breeding program since 2011, and those years have taught us exactly what a well-started puppy needs. Every Mini Bernedoodle here is ethically raised inside our home, handled daily from birth so that confidence comes naturally long before pickup day. We breed only from health-tested parents who pass OFA and genetic testing, because the healthiest puppies begin with the healthiest mothers and fathers. Each puppy leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you real security during the years when it matters most. Lifetime breeder support means we’re still a phone call away when your dog turns five.

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this season isn’t the right one for your household — a move, a new baby, a summer full of travel — planning ahead with an upcoming litter lets you choose your timing instead of racing the calendar. Each planned litter is published with the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult sizes we expect from that pairing, and a projected availability window, so a family in granville can line up a pickup date months before the puppies arrive. Early reservations also mean first pick of personality within the litter.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions we hear most often from families weighing a Mini Bernedoodle, and we’ve answered them the same way we would on the phone with you.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Granville?

We’ve been breeding from the same Millersburg home since 2011, which means our methods come from more than a decade of watching our puppies grow up in real families rather than from a trend. Every pairing starts with OFA and genetic testing on the parents, and every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that we stand behind personally. Add our matching process, where we recommend a specific puppy based on what we’ve seen of its personality, and you’re getting guidance rather than a shopping cart.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each puppy within its first weeks of life, noting who comes running first, who settles quietly in a lap, and who keeps exploring long after the others have curled up to nap. Those observations get documented as the litter grows, so by the time you’re approved we have a clear picture of each puppy’s energy, sociability, and sensitivity. Then we compare that record against your household — kids, other pets, work schedules, yard or apartment — and recommend the puppy who will thrive in your particular home.

What’s included with every mini bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which covers the window when genetic concerns would typically surface and lets you enjoy the puppy stage without quiet worry. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week is about bonding rather than emergency shopping. Free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward mean you’re never guessing alone, whether the question comes at eight weeks or eight years.

What should Granville families know before getting a mini bernedoodle?

Granville’s walkable village streets, the Thomas J. Evans Trail, and all that rolling Licking County green space make it a genuinely good place to raise an energetic dog, and your Mini Bernedoodle will happily take a daily walk or two plus some backyard play to stay settled indoors. That wavy Bernedoodle coat does ask for brushing a few times each week and a professional trim every couple of months, especially after muddy spring hikes. These dogs bond hard and prefer company, so households that are home often, or that can bring the dog along to the porch and the park, tend to see them flourish.

Is a mini bernedoodle a good fit for families in Granville?

For Granville homes — whether that’s a historic house close to Broadway with a modest yard or a few acres out toward Welsh Hills — the Mini Bernedoodle’s 25-to-50-pound frame hits a sweet spot that’s sturdy enough for trail days yet manageable in tighter village spaces. Their Bernese-leaning calm paired with Poodle smarts makes them easy company for college-town routines, kids walking home from school, and the steady stream of visitors a close-knit community brings. We’ve found this breed does especially well with families who want a dog that joins in on everything rather than one that needs constant job assignments.

How far do families travel to pick up their mini bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We’re based in Millersburg, an easy drive up through Amish country, and families come to us from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond to meet their puppy in person. Plenty of people make a pleasant day of it, since the drive from Granville runs well under two hours. When travel simply doesn’t work, we can arrange delivery for families in granville and farther afield, so distance never decides whether the right puppy gets to you.
