The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Brownsville, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving brownsville, Ohio. Our breeding program started in Millersburg back in 2011, and it has stayed small on purpose so that every litter gets the hands-on attention we believe puppies deserve. Our puppies are ethically raised inside our home, underfoot with our kids, which is why they arrive confident rather than startled by ordinary family noise. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a pairing, because knowing what we are breeding is the only honest way to protect the puppies that follow. Each Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, giving your family real breathing room during the years that matter most. Reserve a Puppy

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Brownsville?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg home since 2011, which means our decisions are shaped by more than a decade of watching how our dogs grow up and age. Every parent dog completes OFA and genetic testing before we plan a litter, and each puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that reflects how much confidence we have in those pairings. We also take the time to match puppies to families by temperament rather than first-come order, because the right pairing is what makes the next fifteen years easy.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each puppy in the first weeks of life, noting who recovers quickly from a surprise, who seeks out laps, and who would rather lead the pack than follow it. Those traits get documented as the litter grows, and by the time your family is ready to choose, we can tell you which puppy suits a busy household with toddlers and which one belongs in a quieter home with a predictable rhythm. The result is a Mini Bernedoodle whose natural wiring already fits the life you live.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with a 3-year health guarantee and the option of our $399 starter kit, which includes the food they are already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written around how we raise them. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected to your puppy before pickup day and give you a direct line to us afterward. Lifetime breeder support means you can call us at year one or year nine with a question and still reach the people who raised your dog.

What should Brownsville families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Brownsville sits in the rolling farmland of eastern Licking County, where yards are generous and the Blackhand Gorge trails are a short drive away — ideal conditions for a dog that genuinely wants a walk every single day. A Mini Bernedoodle carries the Bernese Mountain Dog’s steady, affectionate streak alongside Poodle intelligence, so plan on daily exercise and real mental engagement to keep that clever brain content. Their wavy coat needs brushing several times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, which is the one ongoing commitment families tend to underestimate.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Brownsville?

For a community like Brownsville, where homes often sit on acreage and life moves between barn chores, ballfields, and porch evenings, the Mini Bernedoodle’s mix of enthusiasm and genuine off-switch works beautifully. At roughly 25 to 49 pounds, they are sturdy enough for muddy Licking County fields and farm lanes yet small enough to ride comfortably to Newark for errands or curl up in a modest living room. Their loyalty runs deep and their patience with children is one of the reasons we keep breeding them.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg in Holmes County, and families regularly make the drive from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, and beyond to meet their puppy in person. The trip from the Brownsville area runs well under two hours, which makes for an easy morning out and a puppy asleep in the back seat on the way home. Delivery is available as well for families in Brownsville and farther afield, so distance never has to be the thing that stops you.
