The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In St. Louisville, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving st. louisville, Ohio. From our Millersburg home, we’ve been raising Mini Bernedoodle puppies since 2011, and that long stretch of years has taught us how much the first eight weeks shape a dog for life. Our mothers and fathers go through OFA and genetic testing before they ever become parents, because knowing what runs in a bloodline is the only honest way to breed. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which gives you real breathing room instead of a thirty-day promise that expires before you’ve settled in. Our puppies are raised ethically underfoot with children, noise, and daily handling, so they arrive curious rather than startled by ordinary family life. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for St. Louisville Families

Each puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with photos and temperament notes written by the people who feed, hold, and play with them every morning, so you’re reading about an individual rather than a listing. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Whether your household sits on a few quiet acres outside st. louisville or buzzes with kids and weekend visitors, those notes let you picture exactly how a particular puppy would settle into your rooms and routines. We’d rather you fall for the right temperament than the cutest photo, and we’ll happily tell you which pup we think suits you best. View Available Puppies

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in St. Louisville?

We’ve been breeding from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know which pairings produce the steady, affectionate Mini Bernedoodles families hope for. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and we back every puppy with a 3-year health guarantee so your confidence lasts well past the first vet visit. We also hand-match puppies rather than letting families pick by photo alone, because the right temperament matters more than markings.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each Mini Bernedoodle within the first weeks of life, noticing who recovers fastest from a surprise, who seeks out a lap, and who leads the pack toward a new sound. Those observations get written down as the puppies grow, building a clear picture of confidence, energy, and sociability for each one. When we read your application, we compare those documented traits to your household’s pace, children, other pets, and daily rhythm so the puppy coming home fits the life already happening there.

What’s included with every mini bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle goes home with a 3-year health guarantee, which covers the window when genetic concerns would realistically surface rather than expiring in a month. Our $399 starter kit includes the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week at home doesn’t start with a frantic store run. You also get free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward, because we never stop caring how our puppies turn out.

What should St. Louisville families know before getting a mini bernedoodle?

Life around St. Louisville moves at a pleasant village pace with open Licking County farmland just past the edge of town, which suits a Mini Bernedoodle beautifully as long as you plan on a solid walk or a good romp every single day. That wavy Bernese-and-Poodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, otherwise mats sneak in behind the ears and along the legs after a muddy spring. These dogs bond hard and would rather be with you than left alone for long stretches, so think honestly about your daily schedule before you fall in love with a face.

Is a mini bernedoodle a good fit for families in St. Louisville?

For a community of under a thousand people where porches, gravel drives, and nearby Utica and Newark errands shape the week, a Mini Bernedoodle’s twenty-five to fifty pound frame is just right — substantial enough for farm-road walks, compact enough to ride along to the hardware store or curl up in a modest living room. They carry the Bernese calm with a Poodle’s quick mind, which makes them patient with grandkids on summer visits and alert without the nuisance barking that travels across quiet streets. If your household wants a dog who tags along to the barn, the ballfield, and the couch, this is the breed we’d point you toward.

How far do families travel to pick up their mini bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We’re based in Millersburg, an easy drive up through Holmes County, and families come to us from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and beyond. Many families enjoy making the trip to meet the parent dogs and see where their puppy grew up, which tells you more than any website ever could. When a drive doesn’t work, delivery options are available for families in st. louisville and farther afield, so distance never has to be the reason you miss the right puppy.
