From our home in Millersburg, we’ve been a trusted breeder since 2011, raising every litter underfoot in a family house where puppies are handled and known by name long before they meet their people. That same steady experience is what we bring to families looking at Mini Bernedoodle puppies for sale in Gratiot, Ohio, where the puppies are born and raised here with us and the community we serve is yours. Below you can browse the puppies available now, see how our matching process pairs each one with the right household, and review your reservation options.

The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Gratiot, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving gratiot, Ohio, and our program began in 2011 here in Millersburg. The years since have taught us that the small daily things matter most in how a puppy turns out. Every Mini Bernedoodle we raise grows up ethically inside our home rather than in a kennel, so footsteps, household noise, and gentle handling are normal to them before they ever ride home with you. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing, because knowing what runs in their lines is the only honest way to breed toward healthy puppies, and each Mini Bernedoodle leaves with a 3-year health guarantee that says we stand behind the dog long after pickup day. Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Gratiot Families

Every Mini Bernedoodle puppy looking for a home has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed and play with them each morning. You’ll see which pup wakes up ready to wrestle, which naps in a lap for an hour, and which quietly watches the room before joining in. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. If you’re searching from gratiot, those notes let you picture a specific puppy in your own living room before you ever drive out to meet them. View Available Puppies

Beginning your journey to welcome a new puppy into your home is a straightforward process designed with your convenience in mind, and for gratiot families it starts with a short application telling us about your household, your days, and what you’re hoping for in a dog. Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Gratiot?

We’ve been raising Mini Bernedoodle puppies from our Millersburg home since 2011, so the pairings we choose today are informed by more than a decade of watching our own lines grow up in real families. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before they’re ever bred, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee so you’re never carrying the unknowns alone. We also refuse to hand out puppies first-come, first-served — we talk with you about your home, then recommend the Mini Bernedoodle we genuinely believe belongs there.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching each Mini Bernedoodle in the first weeks of life, noting who recovers quickly from a startling noise, who seeks out a lap, and who takes charge at the food bowl. Those observations get written down rather than remembered loosely, so every puppy has a real behavior assessment instead of a vague impression. Then we hold that picture up against your household — kids, other pets, work hours, yard or apartment — and recommend the puppy whose natural wiring suits the life you’re actually living.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, covering you through the years when inherited conditions would surface so you can settle in without that worry. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy already eats, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week is about bonding rather than emergency trips to the pet store. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means you can call us about a chewing phase five years from now and we’ll still know your dog.

What should Gratiot families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Gratiot sits in that quiet eastern corner of Licking County where homes come with real yards, gravel lanes, and fields nearby — wonderful terrain for a Mini Bernedoodle who wants a solid walk or a game of fetch daily to stay settled indoors. That wavy coat asks something in return, with brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every eight to ten weeks keeping mats from forming behind the ears and along the legs. Plan for a muddy-spring routine of toweling paws at the door, and you’ll have a dog who’s easy to live with year-round.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Gratiot?

For a close-knit community like Gratiot where neighbors wave from the driveway and kids are in and out of the house all summer, a Mini Bernedoodle’s calm Bernese sweetness paired with Poodle brightness makes for a dog that greets company warmly instead of frantically. At roughly 25 to 49 pounds they’re substantial enough for a long walk toward Dillon Lake or a weekend trip into Newark, yet compact enough for a farmhouse porch or a vehicle shared with car seats and ball gear. They do want to be with their people, which suits households where someone is usually home or the dog simply comes along.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our home base is Millersburg in Holmes County, and families regularly drive from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky to meet their puppy in person, which we love because it lets us show you where your dog was raised. For gratiot families who can’t make the trip work, we also arrange delivery options so your Mini Bernedoodle arrives safely without you rearranging a whole week. Either way, we’ll talk through the logistics well before pickup day so nothing about it is stressful.
