The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Johnstown, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving johnstown, Ohio. Our breeding program began in 2011 here in Millersburg, and after more than a decade we still know every dog on the place by name and personality. Our puppies are ethically raised inside our home, where daily handling, household noise, and plenty of lap time shape dogs who arrive confident rather than fearful. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a litter, so we know exactly what we are passing forward. Each puppy also leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, which gives families real breathing room instead of a promise that expires before the first birthday.

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Johnstown Families

Every puppy ready for a home right now has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who raise them, from the one who sleeps through anything to the one who greets you at the gate. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. If you are weighing a quiet companion against a hiking buddy for weekends around central Ohio, those notes give Johnstown households something concrete to compare instead of guessing from a photo. Coat colors, projected adult weights, and vaccination dates are all listed so nothing catches you off guard.

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If a puppy next month simply will not work with a move, a new baby, or a busy season at work, our planned litters let you claim a spot early and bring one home when life actually has room. Each listing shows the parent health records behind the pairing, the coat types and adult sizes we expect from that cross, and a projected availability window you can plan a calendar around. For households in Johnstown mapping out the drive and the first week at home, knowing those dates months ahead makes the whole thing manageable.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions we hear most often from families weighing a Mini Bernedoodle, answered the same way we would answer them over the phone.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Johnstown?

We have been breeding from the same Millersburg property since 2011, which means our dogs come from lines we have watched mature over many generations rather than pairings made on a whim. Every parent dog clears OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and each puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that stands behind the work we have done. We also hand-match each puppy to the family rather than taking first-come deposits, because the temperament underneath the curls matters more than the color of them.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching our puppies in their first weeks, long before anyone chooses a name, noting who recovers quickly from a surprise, who seeks out a lap, and who would rather investigate the room alone. Those traits get documented as they develop so we have a real record instead of a snapshot of one afternoon. When we pair a puppy with a family, we weigh that record against your household, whether that means toddlers and a fenced yard or two adults with a quiet routine.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, current vaccinations and deworming, and a veterinary record you can hand straight to your own clinic. Our $399 starter kit covers the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics for that coat, and a training guide written around how we raise them. You also get free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward, because the questions never really stop coming and we would rather you ask us.

What should Johnstown families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Johnstown sits where Licking County farmland meets the growing edge of the Columbus metro, which usually means a yard, a sidewalk, or a stretch of country road within reach, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily use all three with a solid walk or play session every day. That wavy coat needs brushing two or three times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, more often in spring when the mud arrives. These dogs bond hard and would rather be with you than left alone for long stretches, so plan for a dog who follows you from room to room.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Johnstown?

For Johnstown households balancing a commute toward New Albany or Columbus with evenings and weekends at home, a Mini Bernedoodle’s steady, people-centered temperament settles well into that rhythm rather than unraveling in it. Their smaller frame suits a newer subdivision home or a village lot just as comfortably as a few acres out toward Hartford, since they are satisfied with daily exercise rather than demanding a job. The Bernese side brings a calm, affectionate nature that handles kids, grandparents, and a busy kitchen with patience.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our home is in Millersburg in the heart of Holmes County, and families drive in from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond to meet their puppy in person. Many enjoy making a day of it in Amish Country, and we are glad to spend time with you while your puppy gets used to new hands. If the drive does not work, delivery options are available for families in Johnstown and well past it, so distance never has to be the reason you pass on the right puppy.
