The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Springfield Township, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving springfield township, Ohio. Our family has been raising these puppies on our Millersburg property since 2011, learning a little more with every litter about what makes a Bernedoodle thrive. Each puppy is ethically raised underfoot in our home, handled daily by people who know their quirks by name before they ever meet you. Both parents go through OFA and genetic testing, so we know what we are pairing and you know what you are welcoming. Every mini bernedoodle also carries a 3-year health guarantee, which is our way of standing behind the dog long after the drive home. Reserve a Puppy

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Springfield Township?

We have been breeding Mini Bernedoodles from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know that the quiet details are what separate a good puppy from a great one. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we plan a pairing, and every mini bernedoodle leaves with a 3-year health guarantee that tells you exactly how seriously we take that work. Rather than handing out puppies in the order deposits arrive, we use our own temperament notes to match each puppy with the family whose daily rhythm suits it best.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching personalities long before anyone is ready to leave, noting which puppy charges toward a new sound and which one hangs back to think it over. Those observations get written down week by week as a behavior assessment, so by the time we talk with you we are describing real individuals rather than guessing. Then we line that record up against your household — kids, other dogs, apartment or acreage, quiet evenings or constant motion — and recommend the puppy most likely to settle in happily.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which covers you through the years when genetic concerns would surface and lets you enjoy the puppy instead of worrying. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy already eats, a collar and leash, grooming basics for that Bernedoodle coat, and a training guide written around how we raise them. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected while you wait, and lifetime breeder support means a question at year six gets the same answer from us as a question at week six.

What should Springfield Township families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

This stretch of Richland County gives a dog real room to be a dog, from backyard acreage to the trails and parklands around Mansfield and Bellville, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily take every mile you offer in exchange for a hard nap afterward. Plan on a good walk or a solid play session each day, because a bored Bernedoodle invents its own entertainment. Their wavy coats need brushing a few times a week and a professional trim every couple of months, especially after muddy Ohio springs and snowy winters.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Springfield Township?

Mini Bernedoodles land in that useful middle size, sturdy enough to keep up on a county road walk or a weekend at the lake, yet small enough to live comfortably in a village home or a condo near Ontario without crowding anyone out. They inherit the Bernese steadiness that makes them patient with kids and unbothered by neighbors, grandparents, and the general traffic of a busy Richland County household. For families who split their time between work commutes into Mansfield and slower evenings at home, that calm-but-playful temperament tends to be exactly right.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our place is in Millersburg in the heart of Holmes County, an easy drive from most of central and northeast Ohio, and families regularly make the trip from across the state as well as from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond. Pickup day is worth the drive, since you get to see where your puppy was raised and meet the people who raised it. For households in Springfield Township and farther afield who cannot make the trip, delivery options are available — just ask us when you reserve.
