The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Franklin Township, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving franklin township, Ohio. Our family has been raising Mini Bernedoodle puppies in Millersburg since 2011, and after all these years we still know every litter by name, personality, and quirk. Every puppy here is ethically raised underfoot in our home, which is why they come to you already used to footsteps, voices, and the ordinary happy chaos of family life. We breed only from health-tested parents, because the soundness of a Mini Bernedoodle’s hips, eyes, and heart begins long before a puppy is born. Each puppy also goes home with a 3-year health guarantee, giving you real reassurance through those first formative years, and our lifetime breeder support means we’re still a phone call away when your dog is grown.

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Franklin Township Families

Each puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile with current photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who handle them every single day. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. Whether your franklin township household is loud with kids and weekend visitors or quiet enough that a gentler, more observant puppy would thrive, those profiles let you picture the dog in your actual living room before you ever make the drive. We’d rather you fall in love with the right puppy than the first adorable face you see.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other mini bernedoodle breeders in Franklin Township?

We’ve been breeding from the same Millersburg home since 2011, which means our decisions about pairings come from more than a decade of watching how our own dogs grow up and age. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they’re ever bred, so the puppies you’re choosing between start life with the best odds we can responsibly give them. Every puppy leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, and because we spend weeks observing each litter, our matching process puts the right temperament in the right home rather than simply filling an opening.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of a puppy’s life, when we’re already noticing who charges toward a new noise and who hangs back to study it first. We document those traits as they develop — energy level, confidence with handling, how quickly a puppy settles after excitement — so the picture we build is based on weeks of real behavior rather than one afternoon’s impression. When it’s time to match, we line those notes up against your household’s pace, children, other pets, and daily routine so the puppy who joins you is suited to the life you actually live.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy is covered by our 3-year health guarantee, which protects you through the years when genetic concerns would most likely surface. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week is about bonding instead of emergency trips to the pet store. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and our lifetime breeder support means you can text us about a chewed shoe at six months or a coat question at six years.

What should Franklin Township families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Life in the townships around Richland County tends to mean open yards, gravel lanes, and plenty of outdoor seasons, all of which suit a Mini Bernedoodle beautifully as long as you’re committed to daily walks or solid play sessions that burn off their Bernese-inspired working drive. That wavy doodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and professional grooming every couple of months, and Ohio’s muddy springs and snowy Januaries will remind you why keeping the legs and paws trimmed matters. These dogs want to be where you are, so a family that’s genuinely home and involved will get the best version of this breed.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Franklin Township?

A Mini Bernedoodle’s size lands in a practical middle ground — sturdy enough to hike a fenceline or ride along to the hardware store, small enough to curl up in a farmhouse living room or a modest township ranch without taking it over. Their Bernese side brings that steady, people-focused calm that does well with children and visiting grandparents, while the Poodle influence keeps them clever and eager for the kind of training a hands-on rural household can work into everyday chores. For Franklin Township families who want a dog that’s equally content on acreage or a short drive from Mansfield, this breed fits naturally.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We’re based in Millersburg in the heart of Holmes County, and families make the trip from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and beyond because they want to meet the people who raised their dog. Pickup day is one of our favorite parts of this work, and we set aside real time for it rather than rushing you back onto the road. When the drive isn’t practical, delivery options are available for families in franklin township and farther afield, so distance never has to decide which puppy is yours.
