The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Galion, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving galion, Ohio. Our Millersburg home has been the heart of this breeding program since 2011, and everything we know about these dogs we learned by raising them ourselves, one litter at a time. Every Mini Bernedoodle we place grows up underfoot in our home rather than in a kennel, which is why they arrive confident around children, vacuum cleaners, and car rides. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they ever have a litter, so your puppy starts life with the healthiest foundation we can give it. We stand behind that work with a 3-year health guarantee, and our support never expires, because we want to be the people you call at eight weeks and at eight years. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Bernedoodle Puppies for Galion Families

Each puppy looking for a family has a full profile with recent photos and honest temperament notes written by the people who feed, hold, and play with them every day. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle, which spares you the guesswork of choosing a dog based on a cute photograph alone. Whether you are an hour up the road in Galion with a houseful of kids or a quiet retired couple, those notes tell you which puppy will actually thrive in your home. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Bernedoodle Litters

If this month is not your month — a move, a new baby, a busy season at work — our planned litters let you claim a spot long before the puppies arrive. For every upcoming litter we publish the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult sizes we expect, and a projected availability window, so you can line up your schedule in Galion with a go-home date that actually works. Planning ahead also means the puppy that best suits your family is still available when it is your turn to choose. View Upcoming Litters

What Makes Our Mini Bernedoodle Puppies Different

A Mini Bernedoodle crosses a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Miniature Poodle, and when that pairing is done thoughtfully you get the steady, affectionate heart of the Berner in a body that fits comfortably in a smaller yard. We choose our parent dogs for temperament as carefully as for health, because a gentle mother raises gentle puppies and we see that pattern hold litter after litter. Our puppies grow up hearing the ordinary noise of a working family home — doors, dishes, grandkids, tractors — so the first week in your house is a change of address rather than a shock to the system.

Raising a Mini Bernedoodle in Ohio

Ohio gives these dogs four real seasons, and a Mini Bernedoodle handles a snowy January morning with the same enthusiasm it brings to a July evening on the porch, provided you keep that coat maintained through the humid months. We recommend brushing two or three times a week and a professional groom every eight to ten weeks, which gives you a dog that is easy to live with rather than a grooming project. These are intelligent, people-oriented dogs that want a job as simple as walking with you, so a daily walk plus backyard play satisfies them completely. Start training the week you bring your puppy home while that eagerness to please is at its peak, and lean on us whenever a question comes up.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Galion?

We have been breeding from our Millersburg home since 2011, long enough to know which pairings produce the calm, biddable puppies our families hope for. Every parent dog completes OFA and genetic testing, and a 3-year health guarantee comes with every puppy we place, so your commitment is backed by ours. Our matching process also means you are not picking a puppy from a photo — we help you choose the one that suits your household.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching our puppies closely in the first few weeks, noting who investigates a new sound first, who settles quickest in a lap, and who stays in the middle of the action longest. Those observations get written down for each individual puppy rather than summarized for the litter, which gives us real detail to work with. When your turn to choose arrives, we compare those notes against your lifestyle and experience level, then tell you honestly which puppy we would send home with you.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, which gives you years of reassurance rather than a few short weeks. Our $399 starter kit covers the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first night at home is calm instead of chaotic. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and lifetime breeder support means we are still the people you text about diet or training years down the road.

What should Galion families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Galion’s neighborhoods, sidewalks, and nearby parkland suit a dog that wants a solid daily walk and a yard to romp in, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily take both. Plan on brushing a few times a week and a groomer appointment every couple of months, because this coat rewards consistency and gets difficult if neglected. These dogs bond hard to their people, so the households that do best are the ones where the dog is genuinely part of the family routine.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Galion?

For a community like Galion, where families often have a modest yard and a street where neighbors say hello, the Mini Bernedoodle size is close to ideal — substantial enough to keep up with kids on bikes, compact enough not to overwhelm a mid-sized home. Their even, unflappable temperament handles school pickups, visiting relatives, and the occasional trip out to Crawford County farmland without rattling. We also find they travel well, which matters for families who split weekends between town and the lake.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, an easy drive for most of central and northern Ohio, and families regularly come to us from Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana to meet their puppy in person. Pickup day at our home is something we genuinely look forward to, because watching a family meet their puppy is the best part of our week. When the drive does not work, delivery options are available for families in Galion and farther afield — just ask and we will sort out the details.
