The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Lincoln Heights, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving lincoln heights, Ohio. Our breeding program began in Millersburg in 2011, and all these years later we still know every dog here by name and by personality. Our puppies are ethically raised underfoot in our home, which means they meet children, hear household noise, and learn that people are safe long before they ever leave us. Every parent dog goes through OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a litter, so the puppy you bring home starts life with the strongest possible foundation. Every Mini Bernedoodle leaves us with a 3-year health guarantee, because we believe a breeder should still be accountable long after the car pulls out of the driveway. Reserve a Puppy

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

These are the questions families ask us most often before they bring a Mini Bernedoodle home, answered the same way we’d answer them over the phone.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Lincoln Heights?

We’ve been breeding Mini Bernedoodles from our Millersburg home since 2011, and that longevity means we know our bloodlines intimately rather than guessing at them. Every parent dog completes OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that puts our name behind the dog you’re trusting us with. Instead of letting families pick a puppy from a photo alone, we use our own matching process to recommend the puppy whose personality genuinely suits your household.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our behavior assessment starts in the first weeks of a puppy’s life, when we begin noting how each one reacts to new sounds, new people, handling, and the ordinary chaos of a family home. We document those traits as they develop, watching for the confident ones, the sensitive ones, and the ones who recover quickly from surprises. When it’s time to match, we compare those notes against what you’ve told us about your lifestyle and home environment, then recommend the puppy most likely to thrive there.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every Mini Bernedoodle comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which covers the serious hereditary concerns families worry about most in the early years. Our $399 starter kit sends you home with the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written around how we raise these dogs. You also get free FaceTime check-ins while you wait and lifetime breeder support afterward, so you always have someone who knows your dog’s family history on the other end of the line.

What should Lincoln Heights families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Lincoln Heights sits in the kind of close-knit, neighborhood-scale community where a dog becomes a familiar face on the sidewalk, and a Mini Bernedoodle will happily take that role if you give it structure. Their wavy coats need brushing a few times a week and a professional trim roughly every eight to ten weeks, which is far easier when you start the routine during puppyhood. Plan on a solid walk plus some real play each day, because a Mini Bernedoodle with a tired body is a calm, well-mannered houseguest in the evening.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Lincoln Heights?

At roughly 25 to 45 pounds, a Mini Bernedoodle is substantial enough to keep up with kids on a village lawn yet compact enough for the modestly sized homes and yards common around Lincoln Heights and greater Cincinnati’s older neighborhoods. They inherit the Bernese steadiness that keeps them gentle around small children and visiting relatives, paired with Poodle intelligence that makes leash manners and basic commands come quickly. For families who want a dog that greets neighbors warmly, settles indoors, and travels well for weekend outings, the fit is hard to beat.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm is in Millersburg in the heart of Ohio’s Amish country, and families regularly drive in from every corner of the state as well as Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and farther still to meet their puppy in person. We love those pickup days, because seeing a family walk in and watching their puppy recognize them is the whole reason we do this. When the drive doesn’t work, delivery options are available for families in Lincoln Heights and well beyond, and Becky can walk you through what that looks like.
