The Best Mini Bernedoodle Breeder In Sandusky Township, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini bernedoodle breeder serving sandusky township, Ohio. Our breeding program began in Millersburg back in 2011, and more than a decade later we still know every dog here by name, temperament, and favorite napping spot. Our puppies are ethically raised inside our home, handled daily from birth so that the noise, footsteps, and commotion of real family life feel ordinary long before pickup day. Both parents of every litter go through OFA and genetic testing, because the soundness of the mother and father is the single biggest factor in the life your puppy will get to live. We stand behind that work with a 3-year health guarantee on every Mini Bernedoodle, which gives you years of reassurance rather than a few short weeks of it. Reserve a Puppy

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Bernedoodle Puppies

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Bernedoodle breeders in Sandusky Township?

We’ve been breeding from the same Millersburg property since 2011, which means our lines, our vets, and our routines have been refined over more than a decade rather than assembled last season. Every parent dog completes OFA and genetic testing before we ever plan a pairing, and each puppy leaves here backed by a 3-year health guarantee that protects your family long after the excitement of homecoming has settled. The other difference families notice is that we don’t let you pick blindly from a photo — our matching process puts the right temperament in your arms.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

Our observations begin early in each puppy’s life, documenting individual traits to ensure we match them to a family’s lifestyle and home environment. We watch how each one reacts to new sounds, strangers, handling, and the rough-and-tumble of littermates, and we write it all down week by week rather than relying on memory. When your reservation comes up, we compare those notes to what you’ve shared about your household so the Mini Bernedoodle coming home with you suits the pace of your days.

What’s included with every Mini Bernedoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, the single most important thing we can hand a family alongside the dog itself. Our $399 starter kit covers the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide, so the first week at home doesn’t begin with a frantic shopping trip. We also include free FaceTime check-ins before pickup and lifetime breeder support afterward, which means a text about chewing, crate training, or coat care always has somewhere to land.

What should Sandusky Township families know before getting a Mini Bernedoodle?

Sandusky Township’s blend of rural openness and close-knit community spirit suits a Mini Bernedoodle beautifully, since these dogs want to be out walking the back roads with you one minute and curled against your leg the next. Their wavy Bernese-and-Poodle coat needs brushing a few times a week and a professional trim roughly every eight to twelve weeks, especially after a muddy Ohio spring or a burr-filled autumn field. Plan on a solid daily walk plus some yard play or training games, because a bored Bernedoodle will happily invent its own entertainment.

Is a Mini Bernedoodle a good fit for families in Sandusky Township?

The Mini Bernedoodle’s calm, affectionate Bernese temperament paired with a manageable twenty-five to fifty pound frame makes them a natural fit for the farmhouses, acreage, and village lots common around Sandusky Township and Richland County. They’re sturdy enough to keep up with kids on a long gravel walk or a day outdoors, yet settled enough indoors that a smaller home or a quiet evening with one person works just as well. For families who want a dog that follows you from room to room and barn to porch, this is the breed we recommend without hesitation.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Bernedoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

Our farm sits in Millersburg in the heart of Holmes County, and families make the drive from every corner of Ohio as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and well beyond for pickup day. Most Richland County households find the trip an easy morning’s drive, and we love showing you where your puppy grew up when you arrive. For families in Sandusky Township who can’t make the drive, delivery options are available so distance never decides whether the right puppy is yours.
