The Best Mini Goldendoodle Breeder In Port, Ohio

Ohio Puppy Paws is a family-run mini goldendoodle breeder serving port, Ohio. From our home in Millersburg, we have been breeding since 2011, and those years have shaped how we raise, handle, and place each litter with real intention. Our parent dogs go through OFA and genetic testing before they are ever bred, because knowing what is behind a puppy gives you confidence in the dog who will share your couch for the next decade. Every puppy leaves with a 3-year health guarantee, which means we stand behind our breeding decisions long after you drive home. Our puppies are raised underfoot in our house, handled daily by our own kids, so they arrive curious about people rather than nervous around them. Reserve a Puppy

Available Mini Goldendoodle Puppies for Port Families

Every puppy currently looking for a home has a full profile on our site with recent photos, weight notes, and honest observations about personality, from the bold explorer of the litter to the one who naps in your lap all afternoon. Our BAB (Behavior, Adaptability, Bond) assessment matches each puppy to your lifestyle so you get the right fit from day one. We write those notes with families like the ones in Port in mind, so you can picture a specific puppy in your own living room before you ever make the drive. If something in a profile sparks a question, we would rather talk it through than have you guess. View Available Puppies

Upcoming Mini Goldendoodle Litters

If this month is not the right month for a puppy, planning ahead is often the smarter move, and our upcoming litters page exists for exactly that reason. Each planned pairing is posted with the parents’ health records, the coat types and adult size range we expect from that cross, and a projected availability window, so families across the Port area can line a puppy up with a school break, a move, or a slower season at work. Reserving early simply gives you first pick when those puppies arrive. View Upcoming Litters

How to Reserve Your Mini Goldendoodle Puppy

Securing your new puppy is a straightforward and supportive experience with us, beginning with a short application that tells us about your home, your schedule, and the kind of dog you are hoping to live with. Once we review and approve it, a deposit locks in your spot and the matching process begins, where we compare what we have documented about each puppy’s temperament against the details you shared. Between that reservation and pickup day, we schedule free FaceTime check-ins so you watch your puppy grow instead of waiting in silence, and the application itself is the first step for families in Port and throughout the region. Start Your Application or call or text Becky at (330) 601-6871 if you’d like to talk through availability first.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Goldendoodle Puppies

These are the questions we hear most often from families weighing a Mini Goldendoodle, and we answer them the same way on the phone as we do here.

What makes Ohio Puppy Paws different from other Mini Goldendoodle breeders in Port?

We have been breeding from Millersburg since 2011, long enough to know which pairings produce the steady, affectionate dogs families hope for, and that experience shows up in the temperament of every puppy we raise. Our parent dogs complete OFA and genetic testing before breeding, and every puppy goes home with a 3-year health guarantee that reflects real confidence rather than fine print. We also take the time to run our matching process rather than handing out puppies in the order deposits arrive.

How does the temperament-matching program work?

We start watching puppies in the first weeks of life, noting who charges toward a new sound, who hangs back and studies it, and who settles fastest when picked up. Those observations get written down over several weeks, so by the time a litter is ready we have a real picture of each personality instead of a guess made on pickup day. We then compare those notes to what you have told us about your household, your activity level, and your home environment to recommend the puppy most likely to thrive with you.

What’s included with every Mini Goldendoodle puppy?

Every puppy comes with our 3-year health guarantee, which gives you years of coverage rather than a brief window after pickup. Our $399 starter kit covers the food your puppy is already eating, a collar and leash, grooming basics, and a training guide written around the routines that work best for this breed during those first unpredictable weeks. Free FaceTime check-ins keep you connected before pickup, and our lifetime breeder support means you can text us at year six with a grooming or behavior question and still get a real answer.

What should Port families know before getting a Mini Goldendoodle?

Port Washington sits in that quiet pocket of Tuscarawas County where backyards are generous and the Stillwater and Tuscarawas river valleys make for easy walking, which suits a dog who wants a solid daily outing and then a long nap beside you. Plan on a good brushing a few times a week and a professional groom every eight to ten weeks, since that wavy coat mats quickly if it is ignored. Thirty to sixty minutes of real activity a day keeps a Mini Goldendoodle mentally settled, and small-town life with frequent porch visitors gives these social dogs exactly the kind of stimulation they crave.

Is a Mini Goldendoodle a good fit for families in Port?

For families in Port, a Mini Goldendoodle offers a wonderful blend of companionship and activity, fitting well into both quiet evenings and active outings. At roughly 25 to 45 pounds, they are substantial enough to hike the trails around Tappan and Clendening Lake yet compact enough for a village home with a modest yard or a shared drive to town. Their patient, people-focused nature also means they handle the steady stream of grandkids, neighbors, and church friends that comes with close-knit communities like this one.

How far do families travel to pick up their Mini Goldendoodle from Ohio Puppy Paws?

We are based in Millersburg, an easy drive north through Amish country for most of Tuscarawas County, and families regularly come to us from across Ohio and from neighboring states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana. We also offer convenient delivery options for families in Port and beyond, so the trip is never the reason a good match falls through. Whichever way your puppy travels, we walk you through the pickup or handoff details well in advance.
